Did you know that Plastics makes up around 7% of the average household rubbish?

The amount of plastic waste generated annually in the UK is estimated to be nearly 3 million tonnes. It is estimated that over 55% of all plastics waste is used packaging, three-quarters of which is from households.

It is estimated that only around 7% of total plastic waste generated is currently being recycled. White Recycling aims to help increase this figure.

So what types of plastics can be recycled?

There are many different groups of plastics, with many different variants. All types of plastics can be recycled.

White Recycling will collect your unwanted plastics and pay rebates for degenerated materials.

Alternatively, you can deliver segregated, baled plastics to our Eccles facility. We offer top rates for clean material.

Mixed plastics or material contained within general waste is processed through our air separation system, segregated, baled and sold to an end user within the UK plastics industry. We do not ship our plastics abroad as part of our Environmental policy.
