Cardboard Recycling

With the UK alone producing over 8 million tonnes of cardboard for packaging every year, it is vital for us all to support the need to recycle.

White Recycling wants to help increase the amount that is recycled in the UK thus reducing the quantities sent to China. We have developed a number of services to provide paper and cardboard collection from offices and commercial premises across the Northwest, to be processed at Eccles, and supplied to a UK mill.

For large quantities of paper or cardboard we will be happy to provide commercial customers with containers for cardboard recycling. This helps not only to segregate the waste, but also keeps them free from contamination.

We are happy to buy segregated cardboard delivered to our Eccles site either in loose of bailed form.

As a last resort, if the cardboard is contaminated, we can send the material to The Waste Exchange fuels facility at Middleton, to be incorporated into their refuse derived fuel.
